WHAT IS MOCK TRIAL?

The Michigan Tech Mock Trial Team was Formed along with the Law Club in 2006 as way for students who are interested in law, advocacy and debate to hone their skills and deepen their knowledge. We have joined the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA) so as to participate in regional competitions with other teams in the area. The Mock Trial/Advanced Oral Advocacy team will have a brief organizational meeting Monday. No prior experience is needed.

Mock trial gives you an real opportunity to hone your debate and oral advocacy skills along with some new insights to the nuts and bolts of the justice system. Contact Susanna Peters if you are interested and cannot make the first meeting.
