Elizabeth Norris came to the IA program from Cleveland after earning her BA at University of Penn in Philadelphia (2000). Her IA thesis work was the first at the West Point Foundry in Cold Spring, NY where she examined documents from 9 different repositories in three different states. Since graduating from MTU, she continues to explore the archaeology of the WPF working on her doctorate from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, which focuses on multiple households close to the foundry and their ceramic assemblages.
